I just started my second dress from Corset Academy and this time I’m making sure it fits my form. If you have been following along, my last dress was too small. I’ve decided to do the second wedding gown, the Crew Neck Dress with Full Skirt. I get so excited about each new project. In this course, it teaches the primary techniques for sewing a corset-based sleeveless crew-neck dress with an individually cut collar and full skirt.

The course does come with a pattern that you can print out. I did sew a muslin mock-up using the pattern, but I then decided to draft my own pattern off of my form. I was able to use the pattern provided in the course as a guide. This is where I am at now…
